"I didn't start Olive because the world needed another candle."

A letter from Abi, our founder, typed on a pink typewriter: I didn't start Olive because I thought the world needed another candle. I started it because I couldn't understand why home fragrance wasn't having as much fun as beauty. I've always been obsessed with brands: the products you want on your shelf, the packaging you keep, the campaigns you screenshot and the tiny details that turn something you buy into something you want to be part of. Beauty didn't take over because everything else disappeared. Body spray's back, fragrance is everywhere, it's all having its moment. But scent is the one thing that can shift your whole mood, whatever time of day it is. That's what Olive is really building: candles made for the moment you're in, not just the room you're in. I wanted to build something brighter. Something that could sit beside your favourite fragrance or skincare and feel completely at home. A candle you'd light while getting ready, working, having friends over or doing absolutely nothing. Olive is inspired by the places, moods and moments I always want to go back to: holidays, getting ready, warm evenings and that feeling of being somewhere else for a little while. We're still at the beginning, and that's the exciting part. Olive is growing with you. Thank you for being here, for supporting Olive from the beginning, and for making it part of your moments. Abi x
